US Appeals Court Invalidates NYC Law Requiring Food Delivery Apps to Share Customer Information

NEW YORK, Aug. 5 (Reuters) – A U.S. appeals court ruled on Wednesday that a New York City law forcing food delivery companies to share customers' personal data with restaurants is unconstitutional.

The decision was issued by the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Manhattan, striking down the city's requirement that delivery platforms disclose customer information to restaurant partners.
