Nvidia and OpenAI CEOs to Lead Tech Dialogue at G20 Raleigh Summit

Nvidia’s Jensen Huang and OpenAI’s Sam Altman will headline a technology‑centric session at the Group of 20 ministerial meeting scheduled for next week in Raleigh, North Carolina. The event, part of a series of pre‑summit gatherings, is set to convene U.S. technology and commerce officials as they prepare for the December G20 leaders’ summit in Miami.

Altman is slated to join Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick in a fireside chat, where he will outline forthcoming advances in artificial intelligence. The virtual lineup also includes SpaceX CEO Elon Musk, Meta’s Dina Powell McCormick, and venture capitalist David Sacks, who will contribute remotely.

The Raleigh meeting will focus on AI and other emerging technologies, underscoring the growing importance of tech policy within the G20 framework. The discussion is expected to shape the agenda for the December summit, which will bring together leaders from member economies to address global economic and technological challenges.
